❝ What bad thing, Jonathan? Tell me. ❞ Steve sighs softly, looking over at the Byers boy, chewing on his lower lip as he stays quiet ( for once ) and lets Jonathan say what he has to. ❝ You think this is easy on me? It’s not. All of the peer pressure and my parents asking me who I’m dating – it’s hard on me. I can’t stop thinking about you. ❞ He places his hand on the other’s cheek, a slight smile forming.
jonathan had to stop himself from bursting into tears as butterflies swarmed his stomach.. all because of the touch.. he couldn’t help it. steve had a hold over him. “i-i can’t..” he mutters, stepping back slightly. “i can’t do it anymore.” his eyes now glued to the fake plastic tiles of the floor.
Knowing that he was getting on the other’s good side ( quite well ), Steve had kept his smile and looked the other in the eyes, wanting to say something else, something more. His hand dropped as he heard the words come out from Jonathan’s mouth, he sort of looked away, not knowing what to really say. ❝ — I know it’s not easy for the both of us, but we have to do this. Keep it quiet, I mean. ❞ His eyes turn a little glassy and Steve Harrington doesn’t cry, but god, it’s hurting him so much because he doesn’t want to hurt Jonathan.
