If he didn’t come from Hawkins, then where? “– What’s not saying much?” He asks, a slight tilt of his head as he hums, awaiting a reply from the ( much ) older man, but he’s not commenting on age, per se, he’s just trying to figure out where he had come from, if not Indiana. Although, seeming unphased by the other man, he had welcomed him with a smile ( a small one, however, he’s just trying to get further information on the guy and if he was from some odd country or not ), but he digresses. “If you’re talking about my clothes, I think you need to re-evaluate your choices in wearing something as H O R R I B L E as that, just saying.”
